I've heard that ants can get all the protein they need from fish food. Is this true? I wouldn't really want to kill insects to feed them to the ants. I would, by the way, also give them seeds and things like that for protein, as well as sweet things for sugar.
Thanks,

Umm spammer? Why would you want to feed ants?

Just have to make sure the food is served at 5-8 degrees warmer than ambient air temp. This allows the ants a better chance of locating the food.
While they may seem to enjoy sugar, like most other pets, it is not good for them and puts them outside of their macros.
