Looks good enough to eat!
Probably need 2 or 3 on each plate though.

For comparison, how much, if anything, would you be able to grow in soil up your way given heat, water, pest constraints?

And how much relative effort would it take?

Goin' off maaate!!
From my memory, bloody heaps of effort to get the soil garden going.
Then to house it, as every criter above ground or below wants to eat it.
Its a lot easier to grow rocks hey J.

That's what I would have expected C1...

Had the good fortune to be in the NT a couple of decades ago and to witness the biggest "wet" they'd had in years....

Amazing.... mulga and desert one day..... flooded the next.....

Wake up the next morning and watch the desert turn green.... like you can see the plants growing hour by hour like time lapse photography....

The next day, anything that can walk, crawl, hop, slither, fly or hitch a ride came out ..... and ate anything green in sight....

Next morning woke to..... mulga and desert.....

Congrats Jamie, that means it has been almost 12 months that we have been lurking around in the background, and only just getting around to starting our large system.
