Lol steve, I only did the test because i was supposed to be going away for the week, put all the drops in and it went the light yellow like always.

Went and got a beer and sat down to watch the fish, went back inside, seen the sample and went OMFGWTFBBQ, did another test straight away and it came out the same.

Thing is nothing died or even looked stressed, I think the algae on the side walls of the tank is the only thing that has changed, sorta looks like it has gone brown.

like i said, feed nothing :)

150 fish will produce enough ammonia to rebalance the biofilter. only start feeding again when both your levels have returned to zero, and then only a bit each morning and test each night.

:o I wish i had 150 fish, dont think that they would fit in the bathtub though :P

No feeding is happening whatsoever, except for the bottom feeders chomping away on algae.

Planted some corn on the weekend and put some climbing bean seeds into rafts, and put some mesh up for the beans.

Amazing that nothing has gone bad yet

Ty for input steve

Episodes 10th & 17th November, perhaps we can organise an event to coincide when you are here?

sweet, looks like you have a very diverse garden, thats not really achievable out here sustainably. unless you like red dirt, and prickly shrubs full of redbacks

Redbacks are evil looking things, would hate farming them. Contact Cleaner and a lighter fixes em up good.

Went from this:

To this in 2 days

How long do you reckon it will take for the no2 to drop?

ps nothing dead yet, plants have gone a bit yellow - would the ammonia or nitrates have caused this?
