Just wondering which one is overall best, I am thinking yabbies but i might end up with Estuary Perch. Also is Estuary Perch "Australian Bass"?

No... they're more of a "perch"... "Macquaria colonorum"...

But the Bass belong to the same "family"...

You might have trouble obtaining fingerlings... haven't heard of any hatcheries that spawn them...

Ok... apparantly there has been some recent attempts to breed them... and they stocked 7000 in Lake Bolac (Victoria)...this year....

Estuary Perch are much more prevalent in Victoria.. and SA... natively....

If I were where you are it would be Jade Perch all the way. Best tasting fish I have tried out of the aquaponics and your winters shouldnt get cold enough to worry them

Looked up jade perch supplies and I found a few places that would ship here but for my test unit which is currently being made I will buy fish I can find in an aquarium or I might just use yabbies if anyone has any ideas please post your thoughts :)
