I found a better use for the "Pond Sucker" by taping it to a pole I can use it to transfer fish solids directly from the RFF into the mineralisation tank.

Another winner JoeBlow. I've got to get one of those Pond Suckers, that's cool.

Pretty nice gizmo - can't seem to find them in the US (lots of pool vacs though). If you look for an extension wand for watering hanging baskets you might be able to do away with the extra piece - won't make it work any better though.

Scotty I don't think an extension wand would do the same thing. :dontknow:

This supplier is in the US.

I see it has been discontinued or is no longer in stock, it appears to have been replaced with a newer model here in OZ, maybe it's the same story in the US? :dontknow:

Scotty it's a very handy little unit, here's a video on using it and what it can do.
https://vimeo.com/71553965

There appears to be 2 different types of Pond Sucker's, if you read on the bottom left of the box it says that it cleans & does a water change at the same time! The unit in the video does not add any water, it only sucks.

:laughing3: Perhaps you can reverse engineer it and use the 3D printer to create Joblow's AP Sucker :laughing3:
I imagine it is similar to the aerator thingy you made.
