Nice! I think I've picked about a handful of strawberries off the two plants we have in the greenhouse so far. I need to come up with some more growing space so I can put strawberries in permanently... maybe replace my NOT-NFT with more beds above the second fish tank. I forget are you growing them in your gravel bed under the tomatoes?

We have had 12’ tall tomato’s plants we just removed. The roots are all through the beds. I am removing them now. The fish are to big and we need to start eating them.
We are slowly moving the strawberries runners to deep water culture. We had some strawberries all winter but we have some slugs that love to eat them the deep water does not have the same issue.
I am enabling all the vents again as it is starting to get hotter.

The same water pump I started with is still running strong.

We have lost power a couple times but the backup systems kick on and everything was fine. The system text me when the greenhouse has a power loses.
The fish tank has air being injected with the water coming in. I also have a AC powered air pump that is injecting air.

If the power goes out a contractor starts the DC air pump and is powered from a 12v car battery that is charged with a solar panel. This system has kept the fish alive through a few unforeseen issues.

My boys are just starting to drive and we have been rebuilding a couple Saturn SC2 coups for them to drive. A little sweat equity for their cars and learning lots about repairing cars. We have one on the road now.

The fish water has been getting warmer I lost a couple fish. That is the first time in over a year. I salted the water some to about 1.6 and they seem happy now. I have strawberries so I only wanted to salt just enough to help fish but not so much to kill the strawberries.

We have strawberries in the front beds and lots in the DWC. The ants are bad and the eat some of our berry’s.
The strawberries have self-planted in front of my beds also.
We a thinning out the DWC strawberries we would like to get back to planting mostly Lettuce in the DWC again this winter.
