Post subject:  vertical towers

i posted a comment about vertical towers last week but got no response.
here are some pictures of my progress.
my sources were portero in usa (i think that was his name), bright agrotech and a video from new zealand using swimming floats.
we planted 5 days ago and the plants have surprisingly survived.
what is important is the angle of the towers and the flow rate.(too much and the water soaks the leaves.ImageImageImage

Must have missed that post :?

That's an interesting setup, it's missing some foil but otherwise looks like something NASA would construct :thumbright: - the suborbital food module is complete

The experiment is to try different support materials in the tube , different wicking materials and different volumes of tubing, to hopefully make a larger (and cheaper project later.
The 3 blue containers at the back are filters (one for solids, 2 for mineralization).
As its an experiment, i built it as cheaply as poss, recycling stuff.
I can do pretty later
